On-board charging port – Fitting the port

 This weekend I have been busy fitting the charging port to the front of the car just behind the badge grill.

My steps were:

Remove the horn unit from the 2 screws holding it in place - need to find a new place for it...

Shape a flange holder for your J1772 charging port

Fit the J1772 charging port to the flange

Fit the flange with the port in place of the horn.

Next steps

Adjust the spaces for the flange so it can be closer to the opening.

Figure out how to have the badge grill to fold up.
